10 easy steps to a new home

The 10 step PROTEX process of restoring your home... the key to never having to paint again!

1. Inspection
We start the process with a complete inspection of your home's exterior. During this stage, our experts inspect for surface deterioration including chipping, flaking, peeling, discoloration, and other suspect areas.

2. Trenching
We trench around the entire perimeter of your home where possible. This inhibits the capillary action of ground moisture near the foundation of your home, and helps eleminate costly repairs resulting from the decay of your homes foundation.

3. Pressure Washing
The entire house is cleaned using a powerful, pressure cleaning action. This removes dirt, stains, loose paint and foreign substrates, surface mildew and algae. This reveals any surface areas in need fo patching, and results in a clean tight surface for bonding of the PROTEX primer and COOL COAT Plus.

4. Repair & Patch
Deteriorated areas are prepared and patched using TEX BOND and FLEX PATCH, specially formulated bonding and patching materials. This helps correct surface defects and provides a sound and uniform surface for coating with PROTEX.

5. Masking
All doors, shrubs, trim, windows, lawn areas and any exposed area not coated previously are carefully covered. This allows for the most professional looking job possible and prevents overspray.

6. The first Coat: PROTEX TEXTURED/SMOOTH primer
The first layer of PROTEX textured/smooth primer is applied using heavy duty equipment at preassures of up to 300 psi.
This creates a thick, armor-like surface that protects the
orginal masonry or wood surface from weather damage.

7. Coating Inspection
After application the entire surface is inspected for proper thickness and uniform appearance.

8. The Second Coat: Protex COOLCOAT PLUS
COOLCOAT PLUS is applied in the color of your choice. This coating bonds with the primer, forming a second barrier of protection. This revolutionary Heat Reflective Shield finnish is significantly more reflective than traditional paints, and can provide up to a 40 degree difference in surface temperature.

9. TRIM COTE
After sanding or scraping any loose paint away, our TRIM COTE primer is applied. This provides yoru home with further UV protection, and is available in both satin and semi-gloss finiishes.

10. Clean-up and Inspection
Maskng is removed. Lawns, shrubs and other surfaces are cleaned of any debris, and all surface are given one final inspection. We leave your property tidy, clean, and BEAUTIFUL!
